Mundane Tasks: Dear Creator
Jul. 4th, 2026 07:22 amThank you so much for creating for me! I absolutely love slice of life fics and cannot wait to see what you come up with! I want to make it clear that while a lot of what I will write about here is more related to writing than art I would be absolutely thrilled to receive both! I simply have a writer's brain, hopefully there will be something here to inspire you no matter the medium!
The Fall Guy
Jody Moreno/Colt Seavers: Would love something with a focus on any permanent effects the fall had on Colt, maybe a bad pain day that has left normally mundane tasks difficult to do. Would love to see them getting back home after shooting somewhere out of the country and needing to do all the chores they left for when they got back. Colt watching Jody direct and being amazed by her or Jody watching Colt's stunts with too much anxiety. Maybe post premiere colt helping jody out of her dress? weather that one leads to something or not is fully up to you!
The Nice Guys
Christine Chapel/La'An Noonien-Singh: Any sort of training done together would be lovely to see, La'An being a higher ranking officer on the ship and trying to hard to stay professional while Chapel makes her and giddy and giggly. A quiet late night after a mission. La'An somehow ending up in sick bay (injured herself or not) and watching Chapel do so well at her job and/or being cared for by her so thoroughly. Addressing either of their PTSD and them helping each other through that.
Number One | Una Chin-Riley/Christopher Pike: Specifically Pike's cooking as a love language is really dear to me. I'd love to see anything revolving around him cooking for her, teaching her to cook, or the two of them hosting the crew for Captain's Tables
Project Hail Mary
Ryland Grace & Rocky: I love seeing these two learn about each other's culture anything exploring the mundane side of Eridian culture or Rocky learning mundane things about Human culture would be lovely. Anything involving Grace teaching too is so very welcome.
Solo: Ryland Grace: Just Grace adjusting to life on Erid and creating a routine for himself!

Jackson Healy/Holland March: I've been reading a lot of HealyMarch lately and I love their dynamic a lot. I love any story about healing and wanting to be better. The ugly sides of addiction are more than welcome to be plot points. A stakeout and is so very boring that they have to find various ways to entertain themselves and/or stay awake. Healy taking care of a hungover March. Healy helping clean out the stinky fridge bc March has no fucking clue it's awful. Them helping Holly with her homework. Just domestic family fluff-- perhaps with a side of angst.

The Convict | Simon/Ryland Grace: I would love to see just a normal day of Erid for these two extremely traumatized individuals. Mundane AU would also be fine but if you go that way Simon should have still been raised in a cult, that feels integral to his character to me. Again with loving a focus on healing and disability. I love reading about Grace attempting to help Simon adjust to his amputation. Not do things for him, just helping. Also Simon getting plants!! Simon excited about regular life things and getting to do these mundane things means so much to me. Let my boy be calm and happy

As adults them catching up after being out of each other's life post Colt's accident. Or maybe introducing each other to their partners? (if you go with this would like those partners to be jody and simon, aroace grace is also something i'd be extremely happy with)
